Heather has worked in public accounting for more than 15 years. She is highly experienced in preparing all types of income taxes, as well as performing audits, reviews, and compilations for a wide range of clients. She specializes in assisting private individuals and small to medium sized businesses with tax, bookkeeping, and assurance services. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail and empathetic, caring approach to her services. Originally from St. Rose, Illinois, Heather lives in Trenton with her husband and two daughters.

Mike has worked in public accounting for over 35 years. He has extensive experience with all types of income taxes, audits of local governments, audits of contractors, and accounting in manufacturing. Mike works with businesses of all types – from local mom and pops to closely held corporations with multi-million dollars in sales. He also has a long history of community service, including serving as a Board member of the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce, President of the Board of Advisors of Tau Kappa Epsilon Social Fraternity at Millikin University, TKE Foundation Business Council membership, and is a lifetime member of Jaycees.

Jane has over 30 years experience in the accounting profession. She began her career in the agriculture industry as an accountant and moved to the public accounting field in 1995. She provides clients with a variety of services including income, payroll and sales tax preparation and audit, review, and compilation of financial statements. Her experience in these fields includes working with various types of clients including individuals, partnerships, small corporations, exempt organizations and local governments. Jane is currently a licensed CPA.

Holly joined T&L in 2023 after graduating with her Accounting degree in 2022. She specializes in preparation of individual and corporate tax returns and assisting small and medium sized businesses with payroll and bookkeeping, specifically QuickBooks. She grew up in Highland, Illinois and still lives in town today. Outside of the office, Holly spends time with her fiance, adorable puppy, and loves to read and spend time with family.

Erin joined T&L in 2020 having 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping in addition to more than 15 years in various management capacities in customer service roles. As a longtime client of our firm and a lifelong resident of Maryville, she was excited for the opportunity to work locally and serve her hometown. Her areas of expertise include payroll, monthly and quarterly taxes, W-2 preparation, 1099 preparation, QuickBooks management and entries, and general bookkeeping functions for small to medium sized businesses. Erin’s business clients include restaurants, construction and plumbing companies, and trucking outfits, among others.

Sherryl joined T&L in 2023 with a previous 9 years of experience in public accounting. She is the friendly face you see at T&L’s front desk to greet our clients and visitors. As T&L’s Administrative Assistant, she is responsible for providing excellent client care, assisting in filing tax returns, and providing clerical support for our dedicated accounting professionals. Sherryl lives in Bethalto and enjoys spending time with her family and grandkids outside of the office.
